| I have 9 years experience in private nursery, a year in mainstream primary and 5 years experience in special needs education. I have a full uk driving licence, and drive the school mini bus for school trips. I have a passion for the work I do, I’m very patient, easy going, flexible, calm, hard working, and caring for those who need additional support. I have worked with children with special needs from age 2 to 5 years and I currently work with secondary school and sixth form students with special needs. I communicate with students using Makaton and symbols. I have done team teach training, first aid, epipen and buccal training. I’m happy to provide support for activities such as swimming, outings such as cinema and shopping, and general help as needed. I’m happy to discuss any requirements. | I am a qualified and experienced Italian secondary school teacher (Italian language and literature, Humanities), awarded QTS in England, where I am living since 2014. Although I never worked as a SEN teacher, as in Italy we have no special schools, I worked with children of any special kind, supported if needed by a SEN teacher or a TA. I have never considered myself to be just “a teacher”; teaching has always come naturally to me. My students always appreciated my total commitment to their success, how competent I was, how coherent I was in expecting and reciprocating a respectful behaviour. In those years, teaching 11 to 14-year olds, my aim was always to make my students feel supported and understood in their needs and experiences. I ensured that our learning environment was safe and perceived as a safe and enjoyable working field in which all of us were appreciated and rewarded for our work. Furthermore, the attention I naturally dedicated to my students was perceived as a form of love, an essential ingredient, in my opinion, for any kind of learning to be possible. | I have worked with in a school for Autistic children & challenging behaviour. I have completed my Makaton foundation level and enhanced. I am familiar with PECS & have had Timian training for restraint. I have also completed first aid trainin as well as understanding Autism. I consider myself a very patient & compasssionate person, many years of understanding, regarding ADHD as my daughter was diagnosed some years ago. I have also provided personal care to children within school & believe there should be no limits set with SEN children.

| Always smiling to life, positive, enthusiastic and love being around children. I am patient, calm and very affectionate around children. I feel being a nanny allows me to express my creativity and imagination during play. I am a fun, loving caring mum of two boys with the time to be a nanny now that they are at secondary school.
