I have 9 years experience in private nursery, a year in mainstream primary and 5 years experience in special needs education. I have a full uk driving licence, and drive the school mini bus for school trips. I have a passion for the work I do, I’m very patient, easy going, flexible, calm, hard working, and caring for those who need additional support. I have worked with children with special needs from age 2 to 5 years and I currently work with secondary school and sixth form students with special needs. I communicate with students using Makaton and symbols. I have done team teach training, first aid, epipen and buccal training. I’m happy to provide support for activities such as swimming, outings such as cinema and shopping, and general help as needed. I’m happy to discuss any requirements.
