Special Needs Care in Prescot

| I’m a qualified teacher and hoping to change career while keeping children at the heart of what I do. I am caring, compassionate, fun and I really value children’s development. I am a loving god mother to my friend’s children (age 6) and have children in my family who I love to spend time with. I’m able to help with homework, take children out and about, play games, arts and crafts and sensory play is an interest of mine. While I don’t disagree with screen time I prefer not to use screens with children, especially under 10s. My availability is going to be initially at weekends and evenings due to my current employment until I can take the plunge to change career. Last year I was a personal assistant to a girl who has ASD and speech and language delay, I cared for her outside of the home setting. I have my own transport. I am a signalong tutor and am able to use and teach signalong if needed. I speak a little Spanish (self taught) I am willing to care for children with medical needs providing that I am given appropriate training.

| I have a lot of experience working with children of different ages and with different needs. I have supported children on a 1-1 basis for many years, along with teaching small groups of children. I have liaised with many professionals, where I have developed a greater understanding of the strategies and resources used to best support children’s individual needs.
