Special Needs Care in Morpeth

| My Experience mostly involves family, except working in private nurseries. Babies 3m-18m up to preschool I have a sister who is blind in one eye and we’re 18 months apart and I’ve always helped her through school etc, I have two brothers on the autism spectrum, I have a deaf brother also and my mother has a pace maker and I spent my childhood looking after my family. Even as an adult before my uncle passed away at 79, I moved in with him and cared for him and his wife for a year at the age of 17. I also nannied my sisters kids for a couple of months whilst she was leaving work and my youngest nephew has been ill all his year of life. I am a very loving and caring person

| I am currently a support worker for a vast variety children with SEND, I have over five years of working experience in this sector. However, I have grown up around SEND and caring for others as it was my mothers job and she was a single parent so I always went with her to work. I feel extremely confident working with children and young adults, but always up for learning and developing my skills working with adults. I feel I am a fast learner and am wanting to develop my knowledge and skills further. I have also recently completed my BaHonours in Children and young people, a SEND diploma. Alongside being a support worker, I have also been a domestic helper for some of the elderly residents in the Village where I live, I carry out cleaning, shopping and generally anything they would ask me to do.
