Dog / Cat lover
| I have been owned 3 cats and 1 dog. My middle cat, a beautiful lady, had 2 litters. I had an absolute joy in looking after the kittens with the mother. I found suitable and caring homes for all of them. I am really proud to know that they are all in loving caring homes. I receive pictures of them. I left my dog to the care of my sisters when I went to Uni. Beautiful scruffy mongrel! Now, my sisters are big dog lovers. 1 has 3 Labradors, I often go walking with them on the beach (Oxwich). The other has a beautiful 'Sproodle' ??? She's besotted. I can't have a pet in my present accommodation. I miss it. I carry around Cat & Dog treats in my pockets to befriend neighboring pets. My closest neighbor has 3 little pugs. I have volunteered to look after them if and whenever she needs. I love the company of animals and I know I can bring them comfort and love. Lesley. I have volunteered with a dog and a cat charity, namely Cats Protection and Greyhound Rescue. I am passionate about the welfare of animals, and consider my own as my family. Because of this reason, I fully understand the concerns that people are faced with when they have to leave their pet and seek additional help. My work with Cats Protection has involved a number of roles, but applicable to this, I have attended to the branch's cats in care and received training from the organisation in infection control and emergency handling. My work with Greyhound Rescue has also involved a number of roles, including transporting dogs from kennels, or to kennels, looking after a dog overnight if it was taken in late and looking after dogs at street collections. I am not an experienced sitter, but I have had animals (cats, dogs, fish), all my life and I am more than prepared to supply references on request. I am sensible, caring and reliable. I am also CRB checked under my current full time employment.

Big Hearted Animal Lover

I only have personal experience, not professional but I have a big heart and a desire to please our canine/feline friends. My young son has autism and is fascinated by animals.
