I have grown up with animals all of my life and always wanted to work with animals from a very early age. I started off walking dogs at my local rescue and after that I attended college where I completed a HND in Animal Studies, later on completing a BSC degree with honours in Animal Behaviour at Chester University. In between my studies, I wanted to see some of the world and the wildlife so was lucky enough to travel around Africa and became a volunteer in an elephant orphanage in Nairobi as well as a rescue centre in the Amazon jungle. I have for many years rescued and rehabilitated animals in my own home and was recently a volunteer in a wildlife rescue which has since sadly closed down. In the past, I have also been in paid employment in an animal rescue organization, looking after the dogs, cats and rabbits. For the past 3 years, I have been taking Taf the dog out a couple of days a week, he loves playing ball and we enjoy walks on Prestatyn beach and up the mountain. If Taf`s owners want to go away, I look after him at their home which I have done many times. I have at home, my 2 cats, Seren and Molly, we love to have cuddles. They are very spoilt but I wouldn't have it any other way, they are my babies!
