Pet Care in Helensburgh

| I have over ten years experience as a professional carer for pets, as well as nearly three decades as a pet owner. While I specialise with large-breed dogs, such as huskies and retrievers, I will gladly extend my pet services to any breed or species. My experience has primarily involved walking or house-sitting for dog owners, which has included multiple breeds such as: Pomeranians, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Shetland Sheepdogs, and Chihuahuas-- or the occasional short-haired cat. References available upon request. As well, I have personally been the sole provider for a husky/malamute male, a black lab female, various cats, a red-eared slider turtle, and multiple fish. I have lived and studied in Florence Italy, where I learned to speak Italian proficiently. My education consists of a BA in English from CSU Channel Islands, an MSc in Literature and Society from the University of Edinburgh, and in December I will be finishing an MLitt in Creative Writing.

I have been brought up with animals always in my life. I had always had chickens and cats. But my families passion had always been dogs. We have always had two as a minimum and multiple breeds. I have had my fair share of dog experiences and I am full converse with a dogs cycle both bitch and make. I love all pets and can turn my love of animals to taking care of them. I currently look after a baby Labrador for family full time. I am a big dog and nature lover. With me dogs receive great personal attention, care and lots of love. These lucky doggies go for a walks, take trips to the parks, and snuggle in the grass and undergrowth multiple times a day. Before I take a new dog for a walk, I am look up dog walking tips by breed and learn them in depth, as each breed is different and special, so needs an individual approach.

| I am a natural with animals and have a lot of experience with taking care of my two dogs for over eight years. I am responsible and make sure that they get the attention and care that they need. I am a patient, caring and well organised individual who works effectively on my own, and I pride myself on being reliable and focused on any task I have to undertake. I have an understanding attitude towards all animals and the people I work with, with commitment and flexibility being a strong quality that I have.
