I have over ten years experience as a professional carer for pets, as well as nearly three decades as a pet owner. While I specialise with large-breed dogs, such as huskies and retrievers, I will gladly extend my pet services to any breed or species. My experience has primarily involved walking or house-sitting for dog owners, which has included multiple breeds such as: Pomeranians, Cocker Spaniels, German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Shetland Sheepdogs, and Chihuahuas-- or the occasional short-haired cat. References available upon request. As well, I have personally been the sole provider for a husky/malamute male, a black lab female, various cats, a red-eared slider turtle, and multiple fish. I have lived and studied in Florence Italy, where I learned to speak Italian proficiently. My education consists of a BA in English from CSU Channel Islands, an MSc in Literature and Society from the University of Edinburgh, and in December I will be finishing an MLitt in Creative Writing.
