Pet Care in Hassocks

| I’ve been working on a dog kennels for the past 2 years I have great experience with handling dogs. I’m also very comfortable around cats and any smaller mammals ie. hamsters.

| I have worked as a cat sitter for the past 3 years and have experience of dog walking.

I went to Plumpton College for 2 years studying Animal Care/Animal Management, I achieved 2 NVQ's in Pass/Merit and Merit/Distinction level 2 and level 3. This was working with all types of animals - Dogs, Cats, Fish, Birds - including hawks, owls, chicks, chickens, turkeys, many small birds. Reptiles - including snakes, lizards, monitors. Amphibians - including frogs, salamanders. Small mammals - including hamsters, gerbils, mice, chipmunks, sugar gliders. I also worked with a small group of wallabies. Farm animals - including donkeys, alpaca's, sheep, goats, llama's. I have a passion for animals as I have grown up with many animals, I care for all animals in my spare time however I have always wanted to make a career with animals. I have 2 years work experience as a dog groomer's assistant.

| After the pandemic my mum moved with my dog up north, he’s passed away recently and there’s a hole in my heart that needs to be filled. He was an energetic border collie who would need to go on long walks and that I miss taking him on! Due to my current living situation in a flat i’m not able to have an animal, so the next best thing would be to work with them! I’ve always had a passion for animals, and always wanted to work with them, they bring joy to everyday, and no day will be the same.

| I provide good skills in walking dogs by making sure to take the right routes and making sure other dogs are not in contact. Im very good at keeping time. I am gentle with with the dog. I will give the dog attention that they need.

| I am a huge animal lover! I have cared for many dogs including labradors, collies and Jack Russell’s, and am confident in training/ walking and sitting. I have owned and trained horses for over 6 years, and am currently a natural horsemanship student. I am confident handling and caring for all kinds of horses, including any chores.

| I have been looking after animals my whole life... I have three cats myself and two dogs and I look after my neighbours dogs as well.

| I am a degree lecturer in animal and equine science. I have I dog (collie) myself in Sussex, however I have grown up caring for a variety of animals on the family farm.

| My name is Isabelle, and I am a biologist from California, living in Hassocks for the spring. I have always loved animals, and being a biologist, I have worked with animals in lab and sanctuary contexts (I once worked at a chimpanzee sanctuary!). I would love to help you out with your pets, and get to know the local community better every day.
