Pet Care in Galashiels and District

| I am a big animal lover. I have 3 dogs, a cat, a horse and will soon be welcoming a kitten into my home. I have had pets all my life. Mostly cats as a child. Have also raised a couple of litters of kittens. I have had 2 litters of my dog so have experience in looking after pups. I have been around horses from a young age. Learned to ride aged 5. Helped out at a local yard doing stable duties age 11-13. Had a break from horses during my school years. Attended a night course for horse care a good few years ago now but found i wasn't learning anything so attended at College and was accepted into Level 2 horse care and passed the course. I am punctual and trustworthy and love meeting new animals. I done yard duties on Fiona yard up in Bilston. I done my college placement at Jock Threadgalls yard alongside Jo Luton. I have worked with Jo Luton/Fox at the Gattonside Mains yard. Was responsible for feeding, mucking out, turnouts, grooming, tack cleaning and riding. Would be comfortable administering medication orally to cats and dogs.

| I've trained a highly energetic border-collie from puppy to adulthood and lived with cats all my life. Additionally I have experience with smaller pets (Rabbits, Hamsters, Guinea Pigs, Gerbils, Rats) and was the loving owner of an Albino Pygmy Hedgehog for a time. I have no allergies and am highly available at the moment and can transport myself and/or pets.

| I want a complete change of career and would love to set my focus on working with animals in any way I can as this is my passion. I love all animals and the chance to combine my love of animals with a job would be both fulfilling and rewarding.

| I currently own a cat and have owned dogs in the past also I absolutely adore them and really enjoy taking care of them , my dad also works for citidogs so has passed down loads of useful tips and tricks for animals .

| Have had cats and dogs all my life. Currently been doing house sitting and caring for cats and dogs in England, but now wish to looking after animals nearer home but travelling is not a problem. Am retired, fully active, no disabilities and would like to spend my spare time doing some thing which I enjoy. Am trustworthy, reliable, respect people's property and privacy and love animals. As an experienced house sitter and animal carer having to stay nights etc is not a problem. Issuing and ensuring medication is taken is a task I have done numerous times with no issues. Sorry but no references are available as I have changed from house sitting/animal caring but can ensure anyone that I have left many happy animals - sometimes with a heavy heart, behind.
