Dog Sitters in Tidworth

| Currently volunteer at my local Dogs Trust rehoming centre, largely transporting the dogs between the centre and the foster carers. My late wife and I had a Labrador for about 16 years, and have always loved dogs, but now I’m in a much smaller property where owning a dog would not be fair on the animal.

| I have always had a dog growing up, our chocolate lab is now 14 and I regularly take care of her and understand the issues that come with age, along with wanting the best for them. I have a 5 month old lab myself and I am used to her mischievous full of energy ways - I have trained her to be an all round well behaved pup which everyone always comments on. I have always had a way of making bonds with dogs, as a teenager regularly walked friends and family’s dogs for them along with looking after them for holidays etc. I have done this as an adult for friends and neighbours however now feel I like it is time to take the step to doing it as a career. I enjoy walking and the open air, it doesn’t matter rain or shine! I think it’s so important to give our dogs different sniffs and stimulus. What is better than seeing a happy dog out for a walk. I grew up on a small holding and had rescue hens as well so I am used to looking after chickens and the requirements to look after them. I have pet insurance and I have a clear DBS background check. Looking to further my knowledge into pet behaviour and pet first aid.
