I've been around pets most of my life. We have always had cats and sometimes dogs but I have often looked after my friend's dogs, which are of various sizes. As a child, I lived next to a stud farm and was always there with the horses and donkeys helping out. I've also owned many small pets in my younger years, such as tropical fish, hamsters, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens etc. I basically get on easily with most animals and they generally tend to feel comfortable around me. I am also a Reiki master (healer) and went on to do a Reiki for animals course, which included doing sessions on animals at London Zoo at one point. I've also looked after other peoples homes whilst being a sitter, as I find I can give the pets more care and attention, so they don't miss their owners too much. When staying overnight the cost I charge includes usual pet tasks like feeding and dog walking. I am also a trained Graphic Designer, so I can work remotely easily. For fun, I spent many years training as a belly dancer, which I love for keeping fit and happy.
