Grew up with many pets, & was a shelter volunteer/organiser
| Ever since I was a kid, I've always had a pet in my life due to my love for animals. It started out with 3 hamsters, followed by pet fish - (arowanas, goldfish, guppies, fighting fish, koi carp), to turtles and other aquatic life. As i grew up in South East Asia, wildlife is abundant, diverse, and easy to acquire. My love for dogs came in when my family decided to get me a toy poodle when I was 9, and everybody fell in love with him, so my family decided to adopt more and more pets until our house was filled with them hahaha!! I have had experience with dogs ranging from different sizes including Toy Poodles, Bull Mastiff, Rott Weilers, Golden Retrievers, Dalmations, Silky Terrier, Cocker Spaniel, Spitz, and many other breeds as I was also the organiser/coordinator of a monthly dog walking event for an animal shelter. Because I was a volunteer at a shelter, it meant that I was exposed to animals who had been abused or abandoned and therefore know that I need to be extra patient with them. I also have experience looking after cats as I had 2 myself, and many of my relatives owned cats too. I've also had experience looking after a pair of dumbo fancy rats and I absolutely loved them!
