Dog Walker Llantwit Major

| I am looking for occasional animal care jobs whether it be feeding/checking in on pets when owners are away or weekend dog walking for those who need a little extra help. I have worked with children for the last 10 years but my dream is to open a petting zoo/allotment combined with a forest school so I can incorporate my love of working with children and caring for animals together to make a career of it. I have had my own dogs since I was very young. We had family dogs growing up then whilst I was living abroad I got my own Spanish Jack Russell x Mini Pinscher brother and sister. I currently have a hamster as well as tropical fish and snails. I am also wanting to get a bird of my own as well. I previously volunteered every Saturday at Vauxhall City Farm in London before moving to Wales. Here I would help to care for the livestock such as goats, alpacas, sheep, birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs. As a volunteer my role included mucking out in the mornings, bedding down in the evenings and the overall care of the animals ensuring they’re happy, safe and out of harms way.

| I have lived in the Vale of Glamorgan area all of my life so I am aware of many of the walks that we have access to around the area. I’ve always lived with dogs and currently live with a lively, young Labrador and an older french bulldog. I started dog walking in lockdown with multiple dogs being taken out and now I have time off university, I’d like to carry on.

| I’ve worked with all sorts of animals, big and small. i have horses dogs a blind cat and even a pet toad who i care for myself. i’ve done dog walking and pet sitting for many people. i’m calm and confident with all animals and have spent my entire life around animals and learning about them. i’ve done 2 years of animal courses in college and i’m eager to meet and care for lots of animals!
