| My name is Rebecca, I've owned many animals through my life ranging from hamsters and rabbits to dogs and cats, I worked on a farm as part of my work experience in school, so only have little experience with horses and farm animals, but I'm quick to learn. I don't have much experience with exotic pets or reptiles but again I'm quick to learn. I've worked in kennels, a pet shop and as a dog walker in the past. I've got my NVQ level 1 in animal care, coming as one of the top in my class, I'm also a qualified microchip Implanter, my priority is the safety and comfort of any animal under my care, no task too big or small.

Here I would help to care for the livestock such as goats, alpacas, sheep, birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs. As a volunteer my role included mucking out in the mornings, bedding down in the evenings and the overall care of the animals ensuring they’re happy, safe and out of harms way.

This would be my 2nd job, I am a chef as my only job at the moment but thinking of a career change.

| I’m in my 60s and a friendly sociable person. I miss my dog each and every day and know I can never replace him so rather than have another dog of my own helping owners who need someone to care for their dog would enable me to interact and feel the love and much affection they give. I am reliable and trustworthy. When I had Milo I never put him in kennels but my dog walker used to board him in her home as like many pet owners this is something they would not entertain. I seem to connect well with dogs for some reason but I know they would be well looked after.
