A full-time animal care enthusiast.
|
I have always cared for animals, whether they were my own pets or injured animals that I would find and bring home. In the few years where I did not have a dog, I would walk my neighbour’s dog. I have recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Animal Management; in which I spent time researching, caring for and training a variety of species including pigs, goats, otters, rats, fish, cows, sheep and reptiles.
I have carried out a work placement at a Canine Hydrotherapy unit. This involved looking after client’s dogs by leading the dogs during sessions, massaging them during resting periods and grooming them after sessions. I exercised the manager’s personal and working dogs by taking them for walks and entertaining them. I cared for and cleaned the enclosures of ferrets, feral cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and finches.
My love for all animals, interest in care and welfare and confidence in handling makes me a very passionate animal sitter and I will be sure to love whatever animal you put into my trust. I am prepared to offer services including: dog walking, home visits, transport (agreeable distances), vet trips (within reason) and house/pet sitting.
I have my own car - full, clean driver's licence.
