| My name is Lucy, I’m looking to take on some dog walking jobs in my local area of Hitchin And surrounding villages. My usual job is that I am a sports massage therapist but Due to Covid 19 my work has now dried up until further notice. This has given me the opportunity to rethink my career. I have always had a love and interest for dogs and my dream is to have a job where I can spend time with them and give them the time and care that their owners would want for them. I have a basic certificate in dog walking, this will be a new experience to walk someone else’s dog. I would appreciate the opportunity to build a new business for myself at some point. My only experience is that I have had my own dogs, large and medium working dog breeds for the last 20years, I now have a small breed dog called Reggie. I do not have references to give you for dog walking, I can give you Character references from my clients through my Sports Massage community. Please be reassured that I will walk your dog well and give your dog any other pet care that you as the owner would require.

I now offer a dog walking and checking on your pooches at home from as little as possible to give the pooches the freedom they need. £10 - checking on your pooches at home £8 - for a 45 minute walk or until they get tired. My working hours will be from 1pm-6pm daily weekdays and weekends unless otherwise as will have to fit in with my time schedule with my other job. I have 5 dogs of my own which include 4x cocker spaniels and 1x boxers cross bulldog, which I love dearly! This is why I’ll be perfect for the job. I have worked with domestic animals and farm animals and have volunteered at paradise wildlife park where I learnt to care for a huge variety of animals. I do have a pet, he is a healthy male cat with all vaccinations up-to-date. Although, he does not like to go outside so he stays at home with my mother. I have worked with a charity (SPDC) for the last 4 years working with dogs from overseas, fostering and training them until they find their forever homes.
