No matter how little money and few possessions you own, having a dog makes you rich.
| Since the age of 13 I have always had a doggy companion by my side. My first love was an 8 week old Golden Retriever named Phoebe. They say you teach a dog new tricks, but in many ways she taught me how to mature and grow into the man I am today. Currently, I live my wife and daughter and our beautiful Dalmatian, Heidi. My wife had always wanted to own a Dalmatian after being hooked on the film 101 Dalmatians as a little kid and finally got her wish 18 months ago. There's nothing I love doing more than going out with Heids and seeing her run around in a wide open space and meet and greet other dogs and dog owners. The doggy community in Northampton are just fantastic. I recently moved to Northampton from London and feel so incredibly welcomed, which is mainly due to having Heidi as part of our family. We always get drafted in to look after our friends and families pets, but absolutely adore doing it, as both us and Heidi welcome in new play mates with open arms and paws. The experiences gained have really brought to light, a desire to start walking other dogs and help out those owners who don't always have the time to walk their furry friend.

| I can't even describe how much dogs make me happy... We always had dogs at home since I was little. Our last one past away 3 years ago and to be honest, I still didn't get over it. I would love to have my own dog but as I am still in uni and moved out from my parents, it wouldn't be fair to the dog to be home alone for so long. So this is my way how to get a dog's love even without having one yet:) How does the daycare look like? Anything you would like for your dog. I would love to allow him to sleep with me in a bed but that is of course based on what he is allowed at home:) Long walks and cuddles are included :) I used to also go to trainings with our dog so I have a bit of experience in that part. So if there is something you would like him to learn I can try my best:)

| I love animals of all kinds. I have had cats for many years and understand them quite well! I have two cats, Misty and Ziva, and a Russian dwarf hamster called Stormy. I would have more animals but, unfortunately my flat is too small! My experience with dogs and walking them has come from my sister and mum having their own dogs which are all Labradors and all beautiful in their own way. When I turned 40 I went back to college to do an Applied Animal Studies course for which I have a certificate. My dream is to be able to have my own animal care business one day. | I have always been keen to work with animals and have always found a way to combine that into my other careers. I have completed a course in animal welfare and biology so you can be assured your pet will be in safe hands with myself. I have also volunteered at animals in need working with a combination of different animals including dogs, cats, farm animals, hamsters, guinea pigs, wildlife like birds, hedgehogs, squirrels etc, so there are no wild and wonderful pets you could have that I haven’t had experience in, I have also had many pets myself, from a snake, a rat, a cat and most recently a husky, who I am proud to say is very well trained and socialised.
