I previously worked in a large, London based dog and cat rescue center (rhymes with Mattersea), so I am confident working with all shapes, sizes and temperament! I have also learnt the basics of TTouch, a method of helping dogs relax through lead work, groundwork and hands on massage. Anyone who comes to stay and play, will be out the front door and straight into woodland which our cottage sits next to. I love all kinds of animals having owned rabbits, rats budgies and stick insects to name a few and have previously been a zoo keeper so very happy to look after all creatures great and small! I love and care for animals as if they were my family and friends
| Hello, my name is Sabrina, I'm Portuguese and I have just moved to the UK. I grew up in a farm until the age of 13, and ever since I have always had pets, such as Horses, a variety of Poultry, some Sheep, Big and Small Dogs, Cats, Rodents, hot and cold water Fish, Small Birds, I also babysat a Python, cared for a Crow and occasionally taken care of kittens, puppies and baby birds who had been abandoned. At the age of 18 I took a small course in Veterinary Assistance and worked in a Pet Shop until I enrolled in the University. At the moment I moved to the UK to take a post-graduation course and am living in High Wycombe. I applied to Care.com to ear some extra-money to help with my expenses and to have the opportunity to be near and care for animals. I have loved animals ever since I was a child and am curious and fascinated by all of nature's children. Unfortunately my landlords do not allow pets, and I am really missing mine, which I left in the good care of my family (2 Dogs, 5 Cats, 2 Gerbils, 1 Hamster, a big cage full of canaries).
