| i’ve worked with dogs and cats for roughly 4 years. i have two cats of my own at home, who i’ve raised from kittens. one of my cats has very bad anxiety whereas my other cat has behaviour issues such as peeing and pooping outside the litter box. through raising these cats, it has given me skills in understanding these behaviours and how to manage them. aside from this i have experience in grooming cats (brushing, nail clipping etc), cleaning the litter tray, administering oral medication, feeding and overall keeping them happy by playing and giving lots of cuddles! i have worked with dogs in london for a couple years, where i’ve taken on the role of dog walking (sometimes two small dogs at a time), playing with the dogs, feeding etc. as a teenager i took part in volunteering at dog shelters in my home country, which helped me to gain a better understanding of dogs’ wants and needs. as cliche as it sounds, i am the biggest pet lover, and truly believe in treating animals with the same amount of kindness we treat each other. when given the responsibility of looking after an animal, i make sure to take care of them the same way id want someone to take care of my own pets, with care, compassion and commitment.
