Cat Sitters in Portobello/Craigmillar

| I have 4 cats one who I’ve had from 12 weeks old Bella the princess and has her for 6 and a half years. I had 2 other cats one who sadly passed away and an other who gave birth twice she let me help her give birth and I kept one of each litter. They are almost 3 one in march Dora and Jensen in August they are my absolute world. Pixie the mum moved out because she didn’t like Jensen (her son) I done everything in my power to keep her and she just wouldn’t stay. So I had to re home her where she is happy loved and looked after. I keep in contact with her new owners. I then got buddy he’s 1 & a bit they are my everything. I would love to cat sit other peoples cats because they make my heart smile when I’m around them. I also would like to know that they can go on holiday etc and have no worries about their beloved animals. I’d like to start my own business in time. I have clients whose houses I clean that have cats and I sometimes do a bit of cat sitting here and there, they all trust me and I’m very reliable. | I am the mum of 2 Siberian cats , Leo and Mia who are nearly 8 years old. They need lots of grooming as they have very long thick coats. Leo is very loving and affectionate and likes lots of attention and cuddles. Mia is a quite timid and prefers to be alone and can often be found hiding under the bed covers, she likes to be warm. I work part time and hope to retire soon. I enjoy travelling and also go to my local health club several days a week. I’m looking for other activities to keep me busy.

| Currently live in the EH21 area, just over the bridge near the riverbank with my landlord. I can definitely provide a reference letter regarding my character. I have experience living with a dog and cats at my former rental places as well as taking care of owners' moggies - with affection when the owners were away on holidays. I've managed to condition 1 cat friend from hissing to newcomers to affectionately purring and all the other imaginable body gestures. My great home experience was... 6 cats in one house! Cat(s) makes me feel at home even when I am on the road wandering. When I 'hello', cats would make a move - 'greet' (rub) & 'meow' back - for some reason. But it does depend on the personalities. I sometimes prepare spare cat biscuits in my bag to make new stranger cat friends on the road.
