Pet Care in Nuneaton and Bedworth

| My primary job is working at a cattery, and volunteering for a cat rescue, so what so I want to do with my extra time?... look after more animals of course! I am so lucky to be working in something I love. In the past I have worked on families farms and looked after people from hamster to snakes I have experience in dealing with difficult 'spicy' animals as well as including insulin I have been a pet sitter through other platforms for around 8months now and i have had some lovely feedback! My availability varies from day to day so please do get in touch and I will try my best to accommodate. | I have a passion for caring for animals, I have cared for many animals from a young age. Then going on to further education studying animal care and animal management. I have a Btec animal care certificate, level 3 City & Guilds extended diploma in animal management. Within these studies I understand pet first aid, training, grooming, medicine administering, cleaning out enclosures, and completing health checks.

I have recently lost my job within the NHS where I worked for over 8 years, working in clinics and in the community. I am a very kind and caring person who is very reliable and trustworthy. I enjoy working with people and helping support them in day to day living. My main passion in life is animals, I have a cat and a dog and I love spending time with them and going out on walks. As I am currently out of work I would love to have a change in career and would love to work with dogs, so this would be a good start and opportunity for me. I have an excellent knowledge of Coventry, Bedworth and Nuneaton as I was a Domacillary phlebotomist. I have owned dogs all my life so have good experience but have not had paid work with animals, only when I was at school I worked in a boarding kennels. At present I am quite flexible with hours and times and live locally.

| I've taken care of several different dog breeds since I was the age of 10. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe and care for their pets overnight or for longer periods of time. I have experience handling all types of dog, of all sizes and all breeds. Im not afraid when it comes to getting dirty, whether that's bathing them and getting sprayed with water or covered in dirt, or taking them out on a mucky walk during winter periods. Im currently working part-time remotely from home, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups and keep them company for the duration of their time with me. Im flexible with my available hours and days, and also available for boarding on weekends too so more than willing to discuss availability with you directly. I have a fully fenced garden in a large, detached house and can easily crate your dog if required. They will have plenty of space to play and roam free in a comfortable environment, whether that's inside or outside the house, and they won't be restricted to staying downstairs or in a certain room.

| I am a fitness enthusiast who would love to give some dogs a chance to get out and have fun. I like walking in the morning and evenings, as well as weekends. I also like going on a run. I currently own two cats so cannot get a dog myself but I have had a dog in the past and looked after my cousins dog on multiple occasions.

| I grew up with dogs and have owned dogs for most of my adult life, both bought from a breeder and rescued. Over the years I have owned 2 Dobermans, 2 Border Collies (Working stock), 2 Sprocker Spaniels, and a Labrador. I full loan a TB horse, and have been involved with horses in one way or another for over 38 years. I have experience in all aspects of basic equine care, and I’m familiar with common conditions such as laminitis and gastric ulcers. I also own a 14 year old cat who came to me six months old. I think she may be immortal. I am physically fit and able to meet the demands of looking after both large and small animals, and enjoy being outdoors.
