| My name is Alan, born in Birkenhead. I have been in the care giving field for 30 years. I have experience in memory care, dementia, Parkinson's and all aspects of care giving. I have worked in the USA for 35 years, i have been back in the UK for 3 years

| I am a 28 year old male that has been working in the care sector for 4 years now. I have done my advanced level apprenticeship and hold my level 3 in health and social care. I have worked closely with dementia and learning disabilities and also have a passion for mental health. My long term goal is to open my own care company. I have experience in managerial roles within the care sector and have worked closely with a range of health professionals in order to provide the best possible care to each individual. When providing care you can be safe in the knowledge that a full assessment will be done by myself. If we agree to commence care then you can be safe in the knowledge that I have in place safeguarding & duty of care policies and procedures and also the necessary risk assessments will be done. When doing the assessment this will help me build the detailed care plan. What I will do is provide a folder with the care plan, MAR charts, risk assessments and also daily communication sheets. Where possible I will ask either the individual or a next of kin for example to sign my paperwork. This gives peace of mind that everything I document is true and accurate. Fully DBS checked and registered on the update service.
