| Hello my name is Matthew. But please do call me matt. I love in Oswestry but I am originally from Birmingham. I moved to oswestry in 2012 with my now ex wife. I have a beautiful 10 year old daughter whom I see every other weekend. I have been a care assistant now for five years. I have a good knowledge of how to give people the best care possible. Daily duties include; bathing, assisting to dress, assisting with meals. I'm looking for a new challenge and I'd like to do some community support work around my local area if possible. Looking after people is my way of saying thank you to the older generation for all the sacrifices they made in the past. It saddens me that alot of people from that generation get disregarded or seemingly disregarded.

| I have over 15 years experience in the care industry. I have works with adults with learning disabilities, home help for the elderly and adults with traumatic brain injuries. I am comfortable will all personal care, hoisting, household chores and running errands. I am very pet friendly and love spending time with family and friends.

| I am currently a health and social care degree student with over fifteen years of care experience, I have worked in Nursing homes and Residential Homes for older people. I have previously worked for Bryn Melyn Care and the Derwen School supporting children and young people with learning disabilities, and complex care needs. I have trained as a teaching assistant for Kumon, exam invigilator at Lakelands school in Ellesmere, and North Shropshire College, and in addition supervisor appointed to a primary school in Edenbridge, Kent. I am also an experienced Personal Assistant and Care Plan Coordinator in administration, proficient in Microsoft office. During covid, I tried to make the most of my spare time by partaking in various courses such as domestic violence awareness, and as a legal secretary.
