| I have over 5 years experience in care; working with a variety of conditions and a wide range of tasks. I provide personal care, housing and social support as well as companionship whilst promoting independence, being respectful, maintaining privacy and dignity, showing compassion, appropriate communication, being open and honest, showing commitment to your care and being competent to provide your care. I have previous experience working with learning difficulties, physical disabilities, Parkinson's, dementia, mental health, motor neurona disease, Huntington's disease, frail and elderly as well as end of life care. I am willing to complete any additional training that would be relevant to you. I have experience in supporting people to attend medical and personal appointments as well as organising support from other services such as westmarc, social work, occupational therapy and more.

| I fist started my career as carer studying student nursing. I have always had a passionate feeling about giving something back and helping others. For many years i have worked in care homes and as home support worker doing home care, i have enjoyed it greatly and am looking for a new career aspect.

| I had an elderly care experience with my grandmother, it was really fun and I enjoyed taking care of her. My primary responsibility was to be a companion to my Grandmother, prepare her meals and take her to the bathroom whenever she requested, making sure she took her medication each day on schedule, providing snacks as needed, making her bed, tucking her in at night, making sure she took showers, assisting her to the restroom, helping her get dressed in the morning and getting her pajamas on at night. All i did was to make sure she was happy each day.
