| I have a vast experience of providing personal care both with family members, as a volunteer and within the care home. I have experience in assisting both elderly and disabled people to enhance their lives and encourage them to be as independent as possible. I have experience in: Getting to know residents, their interests and their needs Engaging with residents, family members and friends Supporting residents in a way that maintains dignity and privacy Carrying out general tasks such as housework, laundry and shopping Providing support to physically/mentally disabled people and vulnerable adults Ensuring all areas of care home are tidy and safe at all times Maintaining high standards throughout the care home Capable of using manual handling equipment Providing accurate records for care plans Supporting clients within a care home setting Complete any duties as required from Nurse All personal care – toileting, washing, dressing, feeding etc Helping to support independence and remain in their own home Housework duties

| I worked as a auxiliary nurse with care of the elderly ward for 23 years until sadly the hospital closed down. I am bubbly friendly understanding and very compassionate very reliable . My passion is caring for others.
