| Hello! In the past year I worked as a Care professional with a company named Homeinstead. I was very good at my work, honest, reliable, compassionate and a good listener! always ready to help others. My duties included Personal care, home help and companionship. I have my own transport and am happy to drive in my local and surrounding area's to those who prefer to be in their own home during their senior years. My Clients struggles included dementia, mobility, recovery from an injury, loneliness. I would assist the clients in/out of bed, prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner, administer medication, light household duties, take the clients on a trip of their choice, walk their dog, collect medication or simply sit and chat with a cuppa.

| I have worked as a carer/companion for five years, remaining with several of my clients until they pass away. My MIL had Alzheimer's, and FIL had dementia, so I am very familiar with those types of needs. Also my 90 yo mum has individual needs. I currently have 3 elderly clients, one with MND, including housework, dressing, showering, errands, companionship. I am very experienced in what it is like to run a house, have two adult offspring and lots of pets. | I have over the last 5 years cared for several elderly ladies who I have cleaned, cooked, shopped, and kept company. I love to hear about their memories and experiences and enjoy their company. I try to encourage their independence and support them in anyway I can. I was a child minder for 17 years but all my 4 children are grown up now and have their own families I live in Newhaven with my daughter and her fiancé and my cat and drive a Vauxhall Corsa which gives me my independence.
