| I have 4 years of experience supporting the elderly. Plus personal experience of 10 years supporting and providing care for my own loved ones. I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity. I enjoy supporting individual weather that is with daily tasks or taking people in the community. I’m happy to complete personal care, and light housekeeping duties. I’m happy to support in a way which promotes self confidence, self esteem and independence.

Between September 2016 and October 2017, I helped to provide full time palliative care for a 90 year old bedbound man in his own home. I stayed overnight between 4 and 6 times a week in addition to my daily hours, and helped with all aspects of his care, from personal and medical to emotional, and built a great relationship with him.

| I recently completed a home-based caring course at Robin Trust, a non-profit organisation, delivering excellent nursing and home-based care - based in Cape Town, where I completed my 4 month practical and theory training in home- based care. Besides this, I have been freelancing for the past 15 years working independently as Graphic Designer, Fine Artist and Illustrator - highly skilled in both digital and traditional means. I am a fine Artist and Graphic Designer born in Cape Town. I attended UCT school of Fine Arts and AAA School of Advertising. I am currently working as an independent fine artist and graphic designer specializing in Illustration work. Since 2015, I have been employed as a mentor at a Cape Town based studio – teaching the art of acrylic and oil painting. I was also employed as part time design lecturer at friends of design. I also offered my time to teach art at a rural community school : Zithulele Independent.

| I am currently working in a carehome as a senior role , but I am looking to meet new people and care privately. I am flexible and very chatty. I enjoy interacting with people. I am very hard working and loyal. I can do personal care, home help, shopping,company and also house keeping .
