| I have 41 years as a nurse but would like to give one to one care in people's own homes as a carer as I realise going into a home is a last resort for many people.I am also interested in sitting with people with dementia so families can have a break or respite and night care too I am empathic,caring trusting and love going that extra mile for people.

| I have cared for my own disabled son. I have worked with dementia clients. I have worked with clients with learning disabilties. I am caring and compassionate and clean to a high standard. I take pride in my appearance.

| I have helped to care for my elderly father who has vascular dementia. Sadly he is now in a lovely care home near my brother's as his condition deteriorated and he had two falls this years and broke both his hips. I helped to run his house, cooked and cleaned for him, did his washing and ironing etc and did his weekly online shop for him. I also have cleaned locally for a 95 year old lady. This involved cleaning, and doing her laundry. Sadly she also had a fall and in hospital and will not be returning home. I can provide an excellent reference from her son. I am also an administrative officer at the intellectual property office in Newport and have worked there since 1990. I currently work for them from home now for four days and work flexible hours so do have some spare time. I can provide a reference from my employer. I am hard working, honest and a cheerful person.

| Hello My name is Beth, i am 32 years old i live in Thornbury with 11 years care experience, i am currently a carer in my current job role. Within working in my job i have gained my health and social care diploma, Medicine Management, advanced first aid training, dementia and challenging behavior training. In my job role i have worked closely with residents living with dementia, Elderly residents with various nursing needs and also have palliative care needs. I am very passionate about my job as a carer and i like to make a positive impact on the care i give, i like to build a strong relationship with all my residents and there families and their preference matter to me. I strive to support there independence and there care needs and give them comfort and support in anyway that i can. My availability is Monday - Friday with the occasional Saturday if required.

| Hello my name is Mary I live in Thornbury Bristol with my husband and son and I am 48 yrs old. I am a very kind mature, friendly lady who is very experienced in working with the older generation. I presently work part time in my local area delivering community meals to the elderly and vulnerable, but looking for some evening work to top up my income. I have worked in nursing and dementia homes as a healthcare assistant also in the community doing home care. Also I have worked for the NHS as a Marie Curie Cancer Care senior night support worker which I loved and which was very rewarding. Also I am trained to NVQ level with medication health and safety, manual handling and have completed many courses over the years. Empathy patience, trust and understanding are so important when assisting older people and I feel that I have all of those qualities. | I am experienced in all aspects of live in / complex care (acquired brain injury, cerebral palsy, spinal muscular dystrophy, AAC users, Dementia, Parkinson's). I work in a person centered, client-led way and promote safety, dignity, independence, active client engagement. I am kind, compassionate, patient, with a calm nature, fun, creative.
