Hello my name is Mary I live in Thornbury Bristol with my husband and son and I am 48 yrs old. I am a very kind mature, friendly lady who is very experienced in working with the older generation. I presently work part time in my local area delivering community meals to the elderly and vulnerable, but looking for some evening work to top up my income. I have worked in nursing and dementia homes as a healthcare assistant also in the community doing home care. Also I have worked for the NHS as a Marie Curie Cancer Care senior night support worker which I loved and which was very rewarding. Also I am trained to NVQ level with medication health and safety, manual handling and have completed many courses over the years. Empathy patience, trust and understanding are so important when assisting older people and I feel that I have all of those qualities.
