| Hello. My name is Ineta and I love to work with elderly people. At this time, I`m working at nursing home, so I have experience with elderly people and dementia. I have a lot of patience and could be helpful for you.

| I have experience in working with Dementia at the customers home and in a care home. When I was working at the customers house I was doing the cooking and cleaning whilst looking after the customer.

| I have 7 years of experience working with elderly people. I worked in the home of the elderly in Portugal. Where I helped with personal care, I also did the housework and cooking. I helped them go to appointments when the family could not. I took them to walk around and do activities that promote their joy and well-being. During my years of experience in Portugal and in the UK I have also worked and learned from people who have psychological illnesses such as dementia and Parkinson's disease. I also worked with people with physical difficulties and poor mobility. I worked with people at the end of life. The work of care for me is more than a job and where I feel I can make a difference in the life of each person and I know that each of them teaches me and helps me to grow as a person.

| I am a very experienced live in carer, 9 years to be exact, I have worked with many different conditions of the elderly, but would say dementia is my speciality, I have my own vehicle with business insurance, I am registered self employed & have a UTR NO for self assessment, there is no place too far to travel for the right client so distance is not an issue

| I have worked in a care home and have visited clients in their own homes. I have experience in the areas of dementia care and the elderly.

| I have been working in care for 8 years, which gave me skills and knowledge to how to provide best care for my clients. I am qualified occupational therapist and my degree gave me a higher level of experience in care. I am looking for extra work to top up my hours. For the past 8 years, I have been working as a health care assistant and have worked closely alongside patients with dementia, neurological conditions, different physical diasbilities and end-of-life care. The years in care taught me to effectively communicate with people of all ages and abilities, as well as how to encourage and support people in tasks that help them be independent. I learned to adapt my communication to support patients with cognitive needs by speaking clearly and not overloading information. I feel responsible and accountable for all aspects of my work including the management of patients in my care. My desire to learn and develop further skills encouraged me to study and finish 3 degrees that includes International economic relations, Public relations and finally Occupational therapy which gives me a sense of purpose and I now consider to be my true vocation.

| So a bit more detail to share how I became the person I have today....I firstly started my role within the care industry with some volunteer work at my local care home. This then sparked a passion and enjoyment which helped me persue a college course in health and social care, then on to university to further my degree. I have a full health and social care degree with many components. I am a dementia specialist many courses and many hours working with the developments of dementia, personally and professionally. I am full of help and would love to be apart of many more life’s whom simply require some time.

| I have worked in health & social care for many years first with adults with disabilities now as an advisor commissioned by local government to give information and advice to informal unpaid carers, I have a level 3 diploma in health and social care and moved to Norfolk May 2029 I also have lived experience of caring for both my parents who had dementia and have done joint working with Alzheimer’s Society to deliver the CrISP Dememtia Training.
