| I am a private carer and have been working in the care industry for 20 years. I started out working for a care company for 8 years providing care in the community, this involved personal care, companionship and cleaning calls. I then had some time off whilst I looked after my children whilst they were young then I went on to do private care for clients in their own homes, I had a variety of clients with different care needs, parkinsons, dementia. Each of these clients I stayed with until sadly they passed away or went into a home. I then decided to go back to community care with a company for the past two years and have throughly enjoyed this. I have now decided I would like to do more private work due to being able to have a more personal touch with people.

| I am a mum of a teenager, mature, responsible and fun loving individual. Good companion, loves to chat but I’m hard working and find helping others so rewarding. I have a great sense of humour and I am happy to get my hands dirty to get the job done. I have experience In caring For the elderly and dementia clients as well. I love learning about their lives and spending time with my clients, making sure they are comfortable in their own homes. I love getting to know my clients and make their lives as easy and comfortable as possible. I cook, clean, shop... anything needed, happy to obliged.

| I have worked in residential homes for the elderly for many years and also have experience with dementia clients. I enjoy doing this as I feel that I am making a difference to their lives. I have an up to date checkable DBS and all my relevant training is up to date also. I am also available for a babysitting service. I am not a registered child minder but I do have 28 years experience with raising my own children and some experience in special needs.

| Hi my name is Kay. I’m currently a self employed carer who works in the community. I have a real passion for helping people who have dementia, this was due to my dad getting a diagnosis when he was young and I’ve been supporting him since. I’ve been supporting vulnerable children/adults for over 10 years. During this time I’ve gained many skills and lots of experience. I have a passion to help people and to also help them to live at home independently with support. I work to a very high standard and this shows in my care. I think it’s important that no call is rushed and my clients get the maximum care out of our time together.

| I have worked as a carer for about 5 years. I initially started out my care career working for care companies. I found that as a company with many clients and members of staff it became apparent of how difficult it is to provide personal centred care to each individual and clients found they were seeing many different faces through out the day/week. This can be hard to build rapor. I opted to go self employed as a private carer as i wanted to be able to provide thoughtful, personal and dignified care to people to enable a happy, trusting and confident relationship so that each individual can live thier lives as safely and as comfortable as possible in their own homes and feel free from worry or stress. I am trained in all types of personal care and manual handling, level 2 medication management, catheter care, stoma care and PEG trained. I have lots of experience with dementia, MS and MND. I also offer taking and accompanying to medical appointments, shopping trips, and domestic cleaning. I am able to provide this care in a safe and respectable manner and to the highest standards. I have a full enhanced DBS certificate, and fully insured.

| I have worked in care for the past 3 years. My first job was with an agency caring for end off life patients which was very challenging at times, but I throughly enjoyed it and it’s given me loads off experience. I then done my Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, whilst working for another agency called Superior Healthcare. I mostly worked in supported living services and gained loads off experience working with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. I also worked in nursing homes solidifying my knowledge in dementia care.

| I am an almost 50 year old woman with over 30 years experience in care. I have supported people in a residential care home setting as well as in the community in their own homes. I have experience with learning disabilities, mental health, dementia, the elderly, people who have had a stroke and those with brain injury. I can support with meal planning/preparation, shopping, domestic chores, companionship and finances. I have a full UK driving licence. References available.

| I have cared for both my parents in law through difficult times, just a listening ear and caring nature has huge effects . My father in law had Parkinson’s dementia, and my mother in law had debilitating arthritis. Sadly both passed. I have first hand experience of just how just a friendly face can impact a persons day.
