| I have worked as a carer for 4 nearly 5 years, I have worked with a range of clients from dementia, to end of life to autism. I have dealt with difficult situations and developed and grown as a carer. I am efficient, reliable and love to to look after people and provide them with the best care that they deserve. I am passionate when it comes to providing a very high standard of care. For the past year and a half I worked my way up to senior level. I have worked in the social care sector for over 35 years, after working as a support worker in a residential settings with elderly clients presenting with Alzheimer’s/ dementia within this role I worked in various sectors including learning disabilities, mental health, led and supported teams in providing high standards of care, person centered planning that provided the best outcomes possible.

My father in law had Parkinson’s dementia, and my mother in law had debilitating arthritis. Sadly both passed. I have first hand experience of just how just a friendly face can impact a persons day.
