| My devotion for care work began 20 years ago with my beloved gran. We had such a bond. I took on the responsibility as one of her carers as she began to develop dementia. I fully understand the  devastation of this illness and the stress it has on the family. After my gran passed I became a volunteer with the NHS in my spare time. I wanted to show compassion and love to those vunerable that didnt have the love of a family my gran was so fortunate to have . Through the NHS I then volunteered in Fairholm assisted living.
