| My earliest experience of elderly care was as early as 25 yrs of age when I cared for my grand mother of 90 yrs and being by her bed side when hospitalised. Despite not having the experience and aides I needed I still managed. In 2012 I was privileged to care for a 93 yrs old lady with mobility difficulties. Caring for someone is not so much about the training and aides. When you are employed to care for a someone you're entrusted with someone's well being and much more. Alongside the care jobs I do I have also helped my sister care for severely autistic son who has no speech for 20 years. This has been the most challenging and as he's gotten older gotten more challenging however I have learnt to be more patient and have a very high threshold of tolerance. If I am able to make life easier for any family in helping to care I would be more than willing to do so. Over 5 years experience in caring for the elderly with dementia. 4 years experience of caring for a paraplegic, stoma care. Certified yearly care training and NVQ LEVEL 3 in adult care

| I am a well spoken female in my 50s with three grown up children. Friendly, warm, good sense of humour. Am available for one off occasions or regular part time hours. I have looked after a 91 year old lady for 7 years, three days a week, and still do. I am able to help with preparing meals, light cleaning, bed changing, gardening, computers, transport to appointments or social occasions, companionship, light lifting, shopping. I have my own transport, with full UK licence. Reference available.

I have worked in hospital, local authorities and care settings for over 30 yrs. at the moment I am employed as a senior regional operations and quality assurance manager for a high end care company but I really miss 1-1 personal direct care and support.
