Part-time Compassionate Carer Offering Light Support & Companionship
| I am a compassionate and loving individual who has a passion for helping those who are vulnerable and disabled. I would be able to offer part-time support or companionship for someone vulnerable or elderly. This can include light cleaning, meal preparation, scheduled shopping trips, medical appointments, respite time for other carers, or even just a few hours of companionship to prevent loneliness. I have a full drivers licence and I am enhanced DBS certified. Due to my own physical limitations, I would not be able to provide personal care such as bathing and toilet care, mobility support, or any strenuous physical tasks. A little about my experience: I was a registered, full-time carer for 11years for a disabled family member (####-####). I followed this experience with obtaining my qualification in Adult Social Care and a further qualification for disability Advocacy. This allows me to carry out basic heath assessments and advocate for individuals to their GPs or other professional/medical bodies. For the past 3 years I have been working with vulnerable and homeless individuals but that contract came to an end.
