| I have worked as a community carer in the past & work as support worker with people with learning disabilities. I like to give something back to the community by helping others whether it is full personal hygiene, companionship, cleaning duties, meal preparation, shopping or days out. I'm am a caring & happy person willing to help other people of any background

| I am currently a volunteer with AGE UK Leeds. I visit two clients weekly, offering companionship and light errands. I facilitate a weekly Chatty Café event where individuals meet to socialise, learn new skills and retain their independence. I am also a volunteer within a group called 'Remember Together' which delivers a programme of Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy to individuals with mild dementia. I have 8 years experience working in childcare with a BA Honours Degree in Early Years and most recently an MSc in Psychology. I am interested in a career within Geriatric Psychology. *I have recently completed a 'Safeguarding Adults' training course and I am due to complete my First Aid Certificate in April. I also have an up to date DBS.
