| Hello! I’m Amy and I have a passion to take care of animals and give them all they need. I have previously owned a vast range of animals; cats to dogs, fish, turtles and tortoises, rabbits, guinea pigs, birds, horses, lizards and more! Living in Africa (March 2010 - July 2017), I helped rescue animals that had been abandoned or injured, and since I am now in the UK, I wouldn't want to give up giving animals the best care I can offer! I volunteered for many years at the police and military stables (Accra, Ghana), giving their horses the basic care required, along with helping out with their many other animals on the farm. I LOVED working with all of my friends' pets; they rely on me to give their animals the best care. I understand the complex needs they require as each have their own personalities and likes/dislikes. I am committed to seeing the best in them and to giving them a safe environment where they can be properly taken care of! | Hi, I'm Jo, 48yrs young!! I've had dogs of all sizes all my life. Rottweiler, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Pug and currently Chihuahua called Winston. I adore all animals and I'm a volunteer Dog Walker for the RSPCA, I've completed there safety training course. I'm really into my fitness and love going on long walks.

| Throughout my childhood, I have lived with dogs of all ages and sizes in the family home - mainly cocker spaniels, so I am more than comfortable with an excitable pooch or two! I currently own a sphynx cat called Merlin.

| I have just finished doing work experience at a kennels/groomers, I honestly love animals to bits and I loved every second of my work experience, i did a bit of everything, I did some experience in the groomers bit but mostly I had to walk the animals, feed them and make sure they have clean water, clean there cages & make sure they feel loved, I have learnt so much and for my career I would like to continue working with animals. I can’t even describe how much I love animals, I adore them all, I also have a dog and two cats myself, I have grown up with animals ever since I was younger

| My first career choice was an Animal Management course at the Dinnington College where I carried out daily routines of cleaning, preparing feeds for farm animals, small mammals and small reptiles. I have always had my own pets mainly being cats and dogs and thoroughly enjoy looking after them, making sure that each day for them is filled with contentment.

| I have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs, and while I have very little experience pet sitting, I do have experience with the animals. I've had many cats since I was a child and have always felt a connection to them, and dogs have always been pets through my family. My extended family would regularly bring their dogs over and allow me to play with them, and even now, I still love to see them. I currently have a dog - a patterdale terrier - and I adore spending time with her and taking her for walks. I genuinely love being surrounded by cats and/or dogs as they provide me a lot of comfort but also entertainment, and their care is as important, to me, as people.

| I have grown up around animals, either owning them or other family/friends owning them. I have no official experience however I love animals and I’m happy to adapt to most situations. I have a young daughter who has just started nursery and I’m now ready to look for work and I can’t think of a more perfect job than caring for animals.
