Elderly Care in Chiltern

| My career has been in care of older people. I have worked as an Occupational Therapist for the NHS & Carer Support Worker for charitable organisations. I am by nature a caring and compassionate person. I take pride in any task I undertake and I am conscientious. I understand that older people have complex physical, emotional and social needs. I am willing to support people with dignity and respect, enabling them to maintain their independence and a quality of life in their own home. I enjoy getting to know people and welcome a new challenge, as helping others gives me a massive sense of job satisfaction. I pride myself on my ability to build a good rapport with people or all walks of life and of all ages. I have excellent time keeping skills and manage my work effectively and efficiently. I am flexible in my approach and adapt to the needs of the person I am supporting. I am able to work alongside people to support them with personal care, domestic activities of daily living, as well as appointments, social outings and companionship. I have a large extended family so am more than used to running a household, adjusting to meet everyone's needs and wishes and multi-tasking.
