Elderly Care in East Hertfordshire

| I have worked with people who have dementia for over 13 years within a residential setting, before that I was a home carer for approx. One year. I have an Nvq level 2 in health and social care. I also have a Diploma in Dementia Care. I am now a freelance private carer, references available. I have experience in caring for clients with Parkinson's disease, MND, and some palliative care. | Hi , I am megs and a nanny for children, i am looking for extra hours. I have some experience with elderly people, I worked with a gentleman 9 years ago ,for a year,doing his shopping, cleaning and general company, I also lived with my grandmother for 11 years when she had alzheimer's, and helped along side my mother and sister to care for her I am a kind caring person, and would give you flexibility and peace of mind. | I have previously worked in a care home and worked in adult social care services. I believe that we all should be able to live an enjoyable independent life in our own homes. I am always helping or assisting people by letting them be independent but to be there for assistance. I can turn my hand to mostly anything. I love a good chat, laugh and I'm a bubbly fun person to be around. Everyone has a story to tell. Love a cup of tea and cake. My nan had dementia and my father in law had Parkinson's, dementia and cancer. I've looked after my own parents recently due to my dad having a bad fall at home and being unresponsive. I love baking, cooking, gardening, shopping, listening to music, going to the cinema, researching nutrition, love culture and all cuisine and reading. A caring, fun, loving, giving human being, trust worthy. Lights up the room with a big smile on entry. Have a great personality and not worried about getting my hands dirty. Loves a joke. I would look after your member of your family as if they were my own. I would make sure they are comfortable at all times and before I leave they are happy to be left for a while. I would always work with you to get the best outcome for your member of the family.
