| I have a BEd teaching degree and an NVQ3 in Child Care & Education. I have been a nursery assistant and have been manager at a private nursery for 4 years and at a sessional pre-school for 12 years. I have also been a registered child minder for 6 years when my own children were younger. I have worked with children with learning difficulties. I am a Scout and Rover leader (10yrs upwards) but also work with the cubs (8 to 10 yrs). Recently we started a Squirrel group which I help with (4 to 5 year olds). Before covid lock down I was looking after a girl from 1 month old until she was 2 years and 7 months when the family moved to Edinburgh. I have a current DBS for my scouting, a current first aid certificate and safeguarding training. I am currently looking after a 2 year old boy 3 days a week but the family are moving away mid October so I will be available for work from the end of October 2024.
