Childcare in Verwood

| I am a student mental health nurse part way through my degree, I have a keen interest in the growth and development during childhood and would love the experience to extend my knowledge further through work. I am mainly experienced in providing care to elderly and adult patients however want to experience providing childcare to assist me further through my career. I have experience in assisting children with their school work as well as helping them to learn valuable life lessons. I am a reliable individual, very punctual, enjoy socialising and meeting new people and believe the opportunity to work with children would benefit all parties.

| Hi, I’m Millie. I’ve worked in childcare since I was 19 after completing my A Levels. I started out as an apprentice to complete my CACHE Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, and have loved working within the industry ever since. My initial role was as a Childminder’s Assistant, where I was the right hand woman to a lovely lady who owned her own childcare business. It was there that I have gained the majority of my experience, primarily looking after children under 5; but also collecting both primary and secondary aged children from school in the evenings. After working there for 6 years I decided to give nursery work a go; where I am based in the baby room of a brilliant nursery. During my time at these lovely settings I have completed a variety of additional training courses, including but not limited to Paediatric First Aid, Level 2 Safeguarding and Level 2 Food Hygiene. I have my own amazing little boy who has just turned 1; and it is because of him I’m now looking to find a family to nanny for. I’m missing that homely care I was so lucky to be a part of whilst childminding, and want to be able to offer a family the love and attention they require and deserve for their little ones.
