Childcare in St Helens

| I Hold an NVQ level 2 in Children's care, learning and development. I also hold an NVQ level 2 in health and social care. I studied for three years and successfully completed my BSc honours in forensic science. I am looking to go into teaching so i am applying for childcare jobs in schools, nurseries and also private childminding. I have two children of my own ages 9 and 4. They are both boys called Matthew and Ryan and are very pleasant little children. I have the ability to help with homework etc as i have an excellent academic background. I am an honest, hardworking and loyal individual who loves a challenge. I worked in a day care nursery for a year before leaving due to maternity leave. I have also worked in schools and children’s home and also a children’s hospital. I have experience with special needs as well as challenging behaviour. From my years of working with children as well as bringing up my own children and also babysitting for my cousins 9 month old twins and my 2 and 3 year old nieces on regular occasions, i am confident with the needs of children of different ages. I hold a full, clean UK driving licence as well as my own transport and 9+ years driving experience.

| I am a very loving and caring young woman currently training to become a level 3 nursery practitioner, which will be completed in early December. I have been a member of a care family since as young as I can remember meaning I have seen children from all walks of life. I have a real passion for delivering the best childcare as I have seen the highs and lows in many Children’s lives. Children should learn while having fun and I feel I can do the best of both. | Welcome to Mindfulness Childcare we are located in the beautiful New Bold estate where I live with my long-term partner, our 7-year-old Daughter and 3 year old Springer Spaniel Finn. I offer a home from home childcare setting offering care Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm. I have a huge emphasis on health and well-being. I know the importance of happiness and well-being and know from first-hand experience the impact of a child's happiness on their learning and development. Daily activities include outdoor play, yoga and activities to help children deal with and learn about their feelings and emotions. I work closely with parents to plan activities around the children's likes and interests to cover all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) I pride myself on getting to know the children and families in my care to help me plan not only great personal activities, but also offer experiences which will they will remember for years to come. I know each child learns and develops at different levels which is why I adapt my activities to the individual child.

| Creative Cubs has its own purposely built extension which opens out onto a good sized secure entry garden to give the children choice of indoor and outdoor play. I believe in caring and educating children in the same way I would want my own children cared for. We have lots of fun while learning both at the setting and days out. I believe in keeping parents involved in their child’s care and learning as a parent myself I know how hard it is to leave your child with someone else. I have experience with children from birth , to 18 Level 3 in childcare Level 3 in paediatric first aid and also basic sign language skills.
