I first started off in a nursery where I worked for 1 year and then moved onto being a full time nanny for 5 years for 2 girls who were aged 3months and 18months when I started. | Working with children has always been my passion from a young age, I started to study childcare when I left school In 2007. In 2010 I became a qualified level 3 early years practitioner, working in a nursery environment I worked my way up and become a room leader for 1-2 year olds. I then had a room change and become a room leader for the preschool children. I have covered working with all agegroups from 3 months - 5 years while in a nursery setting. In 2016 I had a career change and become an Ofsted registered nanny which I am still currently doing for 4 year old triplets.

I have worked in fields which involve caring for children which has allowed me to gain childcare experience which is why I know I am suitable for any babysitting/nanny/ child caring job roles. I have worked in nursery’s, schools, and holiday clubs with as young as 0 to 14 year olds. Within each job I had to take on different roles but I always ensured the children were not only learning but enjoying themselves whilst consuming information in a safe environment as it is my responsibility to provide a duty of care. One example of a fulfilment I have experience is when I was working in a primary school with year 2’s and 3’s. My main purpose was to help improve their literacy skills within a 10 week period. As a result of this I was able to see a huge improvement with one particular student who I was working one-to-one with and this was an amazing feeling.

| I done childcare course back when I was young at langley college for 4 years I studied and passed all 3 x But was long time ago and hands on with own family nieces and nephews from birth to 13 years of age x I had to give up childcare at my nursery as at the time I caught to many bugs of the children and my immune system was very weak with what working 32 hours week too. At the moment I do alot of petsitting to keep me going too. I had leukaemia when was a child and have some health problems from this but does not stop me from enjoying life my nieces nephews are now moved to Swindon so have free time on my hands and would like to help out if I can x
