I am currently a university student, studying Sociology, and I am looking for a job where I’ll be able to earn some extra income whilst doing a job I enjoy. I have worked in fields which involve caring for children which has allowed me to gain childcare experience which is why I know I am suitable for any babysitting/nanny/ child caring job roles. I have worked in nursery’s, schools, and holiday clubs with as young as 0 to 14 year olds. Within each job I had to take on different roles but I always ensured the children were not only learning but enjoying themselves whilst consuming information in a safe environment as it is my responsibility to provide a duty of care. One example of a fulfilment I have experience is when I was working in a primary school with year 2’s and 3’s. My main purpose was to help improve their literacy skills within a 10 week period. As a result of this I was able to see a huge improvement with one particular student who I was working one-to-one with and this was an amazing feeling.
