| Hello! My name is Charlie and I am a qualified teacher. My specialism is Early Years, Primary, Special Educational Needs and Behaviour. I have a full Enhanced DBS check which I am more than happy to show you. I have a real passion for teaching and taking care of children. | I am a calm yet assertive individual who is confident around children and passionate about allowing them to express their personality in a safe controlled environment. Currently I studying primary education at university and am looking for flexible work that will increase my previous experience working around children. Over the past two years I have volunteered in a primary school as well as extensive experience caring for my younger siblings and family friends. My hobbies have included performing arts which led me to co ordinate a dance troop of children aged 11-13 for two years supervising them on trips and performances. I look forward to applying my passion for childcare in the near future.

I have been working as a registered childminder for over 5 years. I can care for children at my home or at theirs if it is possible.

| My experience as an Early year’s practitioner, Primary/Elementary teacher and a qualified dance teacher highlights my passion to work with children as well as my creative skills and unique way of providing children with an education, no matter how diverse the setting. I have extensive knowledge of the English National Curriculum and EYFS statutory framework, alongside general knowledge of the Common Core and B.E.S.T Standards framework. I also have a large amount of knowledge in the field of child and educational psychology, in which was gained from a Masters Degree in Psychology and also a Bachelor’s degree in Children’s Development. I am positive, polite and most of all patient. Being a very energetic and active person always provides me with the ability to give 100%. I am comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a proven ability to ensure that standards, communication, and safety are implemented correctly. Also experienced in the act of equality and working alongside children with special educational needs and disabilities. I am confident I would be a great asset to your setting due to my passion to help children grow, be happy and blossom into their highest potential.
