| I am a fully qualified level 3 child carer with 20 years experience. I am Ofsted registered and approved. I have looked after children from birth to 18 years of age. All my qualifications in food handling and first aid are all up to date. I also have a good knowledge of the early years foundation stage. I have always wanted to look after children and enjoy encouraging them to learn and be independent in the activities they enjoy. The role of a nanny is very important to me as I offer the full care and affection any mother or father would, the role involves becoming a member of the family and this is very important to me on both sides. Most of the families I have worked for have had some contact with my own family and I like to view it as an extension to the children that I care for.
