24 y/o female child carer. Flexible, hard working and reliable.
|
I am a 24 y/o History graduate of the University of Sheffield.I have three years experience childminding for a local family with three boys aged between 1-12 y/o. The roles included, pick up/drop off from school, homework supervision, light housework, cooking snacks and bedtime routine as well as occasionally staying over night. This was a role I took on alongside my sixth form studies between ####-####. The oldest boy is now 18 but I am still in regular contact with the family.
Other employment history: Sales Assistant at Spar; Library Assistant; Bar Manager at Sheffield United Football Club; Afternoon Tea Waitress at Lough Erne Golf Resort.
I am currently looking for a child caring role as I love working with children and families. I am a very sociable, motivated and hardworking individual as evidenced by my time working in the hospitality sector. My ultimate career goal is to go into broadcast journalism, ideally, working as a newsroom researcher for a mainstream news channel such as the BBC, Sky or ITV. Therefore a child-caring position would help support me whilst I build a career in this field.
I am flexible to work weekdays, evenings and weekends as required. Full, clean driving licence and use of a car.
