When i worked in Juniors Day care Omagh i was an Administrative assistant and also helped out in the rooms. I started doing a course in childcare. My main roll working in juniors was Working as part of the front of house team I am quite often the first person that greets customers and children on their arrival to the reception area. Using a bespoke computer system to accurately log relevant information relating to children, confidentiality is essential. A typical day includes providing excellent customer service either face to face or over the telephone, taking card payments, dealing with general enquiries, placing orders and replenishing stock, updating and maintaining databases and, general cleaning. Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential to working with children. My role requires me to work in partnership with parents, children, schools, suppliers and my colleagues, providing them with important information that I have gained from the front desk. In this busy and challenging environment, I am responsible for portraying the company image and upholding the company’s values to provide a calm safe environment for children to attend.
