Night Nannies Worthing

| I am qualified in early years education and have spent the past 8 years working in professional and personal (nannying) childcare settings. I have experience with all ages of children from as young as a few weeks old. I am passionate about seeing children have fun, explore new things, learn through play and get creative! I’m have just finished studying theology at university and I am now looking to find a family to nanny for during half terms. I can also offer evening babysitting or weekend babysitting outside of half terms.

| I have been nannying for different families on and off for the last 10 years and have done temping work in various nurseries around Brighton and Hove. The children I have cared for have been between the ages of 1-11. The first family I looked after was two little girls aged 1 and 2. The second family I worked for consisted of 2 girls aged 5 and 7. The third family I cared for were a boy aged 11 and a girl aged 6. All of my duties included house keeping as well as nannying. I would ensure I left the house cleaner than I found it and encourage the children to help me as I went. I would always arrive promptly around 6am would take each child to nursery or school or a class they may have had. I would be there to cook the children dinner every evening and do bedtime duties for the families that needed my assistance. I do not have a drivers license but feel completely confident and in control on all forms of public transport with any child.

I have 3 step-sons of my own (currently 8, 11 and 12) and also have a lot of SEN experience too. I am Level 3 qualified and hold pediatric first aid training as well as safeguarding and various SEN training too. I love being outdoors and exploring new hobbies, i'm currently enjoying painting and hiking. I have been baby sitting since I was 14 and I have always enjoyed sitting. In the pandemic a family I baby sat for frequently (kids aged four and eight) asked me if i wanted to go full time. During this time I helped with all of their zoom calls from school and helped with their work. I took them on days out, walks, arts and craft days, fun fairs and more. I also have work experience with Pumpkin Patch nursery when I was studying childcare at GCSE. Along side I did a year experience every week at West Blatchington primary as a playground helper and lunch assistant for year 4.

| My Name is Ellena, I am 22 years old and I live in the centre of Brighton. I currently study at the Open University where I am doing a degree in Criminology and Psychology. I am British but for half my life I was raised abroad in Sweden and Italy until last year when I moved back to England. For over 2 years, I was a part-time live-out nanny for an Italian family in Bologna. My responsibilities were the general care of two boys from the ages of 3 to 5. I did the school runs, took them to after school activities, cooked their lunches or dinners and prepared them for bed. I did this up to 4 days a week plus the occasional babysitting for a Friday night. Part of my role as the nanny was also to help the boys improve their English and be able to communicate with me.

| Hi there! I’m Lucy, I’m 30 and living in Hove. Growing up with a brother with cerebral palsy sparked an interested in working with children and adults with special needs. For the last 13 years I have worked with different families, with children both with special needs and no additional needs. I’ve completed my level 5 foundation degree in early years and since worked in schools, nurseries, day centres, respite centres, and with private families as a neurotypical and neurodiverse nanny and babysitter. I have experience looking after multiple children, sole charge and I always put 100% into everything I do. I am reliable, friendly, love animals and down to earth. I would describe myself as a friendly, caring and patient person with a passion for being around children and helping to support with their growth and development. I have just over 4 years of professional childcare experience working in a nursery and 1 year experience of working at a childminder setting, as an Ofsted registered childminder. I have been babysitting since I was 15 for local families in the area and I enjoyed doing this over the summer holiday period, creating close bonds with the children. I have cared for children from age 8 months to 11 years. I have always loved getting super messy with children and coming up with new and exciting creative activities. I understand the importance of being outdoors and love exploring and going on adventures to the farm, park, beach etc. I currently have availability on Monday and Wednesdays throughout April during the day and I am also free for evening babysitting most days during the week.

| I have been in childcare now for over 5 years. I did GCSE child development at school and then went into doing my level 2 and 3 early years educator course at college while also working full time at a nursery. I have worked in a nursery in Hove for 4 years. There I did 2 years in with the toddlers and then 2 years with babies. I now currently work in a NHS nursery in hove with babies and have been there nearly a year now and I love it. I love working with babies and have loads of experience with babies now. While working full time I also occasionally help out with families from my old nursery and new nursery. These include babysitting while the children are sleeping so parents can have an evening out, to also being a mothers help/ kind of nanny to children from 6 months plus and I love it! I love helping families in their own home with their children.
